Google Buzz Case

Ah! As we learn about public/private issues concerning new technology, another very relevant case comes up: Google Buzz. Check out the article below.

This shows that people still need and want to "control" the context of information sharing, especially, the flow of information. Yes, the social norm has changed with the development reality TV shows and online social network such as Facebook. People are more ok with revealing their personal stories (and less guilty with "observing" others' private side). But this doesn't mean people less care about privacy--people still want to have "transparency and control" in where and how their information gets out.
